Performance and Applications:
ATMP exhibits excellent chelating, threshold inhibition, and lattice‑distortion effects. It can prevent the formation of scale from scaling salts in water, particularly calcium carbonate scale.
ATMP exhibits chemical stability in water and is resistant to hydrolysis. At higher concentrations in aqueous solutions, it provides excellent corrosion inhibition.
ATMP is used in the circulating cooling water systems of thermal power plants and refineries, as well as in oilfield water‑reinjection systems. It helps reduce corrosion and scaling on metal equipment and pipelines.
ATMP is used in the textile printing and dyeing industries as a metal ion chelating agent and can also serve as a metal surface treatment agent, among other applications.
ATMP solid is a white granular substance, readily soluble in water, hygroscopic, and easy to transport and handle, making it particularly suitable for regions with severe winter cold.

Instructions for use:
ATMP is often compounded with other organic phosphonates, polycarboxylic acids, or their salts to form organic water treatment agents, which are used in recirculating cooling water systems under a variety of water quality conditions. The recommended dosage is 1–20 mg/L; when used as a corrosion inhibitor, the dosage ranges from 20 to 60 mg/L.
Packaging and Storage:
ATMP liquid is packaged in plastic drums, with each drum containing 25 kg or 250 kg, or as specified by the customer. The solid form is packed in polyethylene-lined plastic woven bags, with a net weight of 25 kg per bag, or as requested by the customer. Store in a cool, well-ventilated indoor location, protected from moisture and direct sunlight; the shelf life is twelve months.
Security Protection:
ATMP is acidic; take appropriate personal protective measures during handling, and avoid contact with skin, eyes, etc. If contact occurs, rinse immediately with plenty of water.
