DTPMP·Na₅ It is a neutral, non-toxic product and is used in water treatment as an scale inhibitor and corrosion inhibitor for circulating cooling water and boiler water.

DTPMP·Na₅ It can be used as a peroxide stabilizer, a chelating agent in textile printing and dyeing, a pigment dispersant, a carrier for trace elements in fertilizers, and a concrete admixture. In addition, it has found widespread applications in papermaking, electroplating, and cosmetics, among other fields.
