HEDP•Na ₄ is HEDP Its sodium salt is an excellent inhibitor of calcium carbonate scale. HEDP•Na ₄ It is primarily used for metal corrosion inhibition in low-pressure boiler water treatment, circulating water treatment, industrial and municipal potable water systems, and swimming pool disinfection.

     HEDP•Na₄ In its solid state, it appears as a white powder, is readily soluble in water, and exhibits hygroscopic properties; it is easy to transport and suitable for use in extremely cold conditions.
