Product Performance

The antiscalant for reverse osmosis membranes effectively reduces the frequency of membrane cleaning by simultaneously controlling fouling caused by various inorganic salts, colloids, and organic substances on the membrane surface. As a newly developed high-performance antiscalant, it can prevent the deposition of calcium, magnesium, iron, aluminum, barium, strontium, silicon, colloids, and even organic matter on reverse osmosis membranes. This antiscalant offers a highly cost-effective alternative to conventional linear polymer antiscalants currently available on the market—such as those based on copolymers like polyacrylic acid—or to phosphorus-containing antiscalants, while demonstrating superior overall performance compared to these alternatives. The company has independently developed and synthesized a novel dendritic polymer that has been proven to be a non-linear polymeric material specifically designed to address membrane fouling. This polymer exhibits the highest comprehensive antiscalant performance and is completely safe for membrane elements. It delivers excellent antiscalant effects and boasts a wide range of applications, providing effective antiscalant and dispersing properties even under standard water conditions. Moreover, it can be used in reverse osmosis systems without prior ion-exchange pretreatment.
