Product Performance

Corrosion and Scale Inhibitor PO-600 is primarily composed of special surfactants, high-efficiency dispersants, and corrosion inhibitors, and is suitable for systems using ordinary water as a cooling medium. It is a hybrid-type corrosion and scale inhibitor that primarily exerts its corrosion-inhibiting effect by suppressing metal polarization and its scale-inhibiting effect by complexing calcium and magnesium ions. The corrosion and scale inhibitor PO-600 contains no toxic substances such as nitrites or chromates and is environmentally friendly. Under normal operating conditions, the corrosion rate of carbon steel in the presence of PO-600 is significantly lower than the national standard. It also meets the required performance standards for corrosion inhibition in corrosive waters with chloride ion concentrations exceeding 300 mg/L and high calcium and magnesium content, and demonstrates excellent scale-inhibiting properties.

Instructions for use

The corrosion and scale inhibitor required daily PO-600 should be added to the plastic dosing tank (or container), and the chemical agent should be continuously fed into the inlet of the circulating pump (i.e., at the outlet of the collection sump) using a metering pump or by adjusting the valve. The typical dosage concentration is 20–50 mg/L (based on the volume of make-up water).

Packaging, Storage, Transportation, and Precautions

Corrosion and Scale Inhibitor PO-600 is packaged in plastic drums, with each drum containing 25 kg or according to the customer’s specific requirements. Store in a cool, indoor location; the shelf life is twelve months. The corrosion and scale inhibitor PO-600 is acidic. During handling, pay attention to occupational safety measures and avoid contact with skin, eyes, and other sensitive areas. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with plenty of water.
